Working together internationally to create change...
Campaign! aims to celebrate collaboration between young disabled people in the South East with those from other countries as they work together, along with selected arts practitioners, to build campaigns around issues that affect them in their respective nations.
Campaign! will engage at least 240 young people between now and 2012 by working with 12 groups of 20 – 3 in 2010, 4 in 2011 and 5 in 2012. Each group will build a campaign around one of three themes – media, manufacturing and environments to be delivered to one of three audiences – public, policy or industry.
Campaign! is supported by Parliamentary Outreach, who will provide funding for a documentary film that will feature as part of their Cultural Olympiad celebrations in Westminster Hall in 2011-12. They will also provide access to MP’s, lords and parliamentary staff.
Campaign! is being delivered through CCC as part of the Accentuate programme.
